Ever since I first saw your dog food in the refrigerated case in the local grocery store, I would check out the case every time I went to the store hoping there would be some cat food. Many times the thought crossed my mind to sneak a sticky note on the case asking “Where’s the CAT food?” Finally, lo and behold, there it was! I bought two containers.
I thought our cat might not like it because it was new. I opened the container. It smelled so good, I wanted to eat it. I gave her a spoonful. She gobbled it up and begged for more. I gave her more, and she gobbled that up. No dish sitting around with uneaten food.

Scully is our little fourteen year-old, six pound, black and white Tuxedo cat. She has feline chronic lymphocytic-plasmacytic gingivitis stomatitis, which is an inflammation of the gums and oral mucus membranes (in the back of her mouth). The cells in her body are actually attacking her teeth, thinking they are foreign objects. Scully has difficulty eating and has become very picky when it comes to her food because it causes her such severe pain.
When we buy the major brands of wet cat food she sometimes seems interested, mainly because she is always so hungry, but she will only eat the "gravy" part and leave behind the solid pieces. Not only is this a waste, but we know she is not getting the nutrition that she needs, especially sense she can no longer chew dry crunchy cat food. This brings me to tonight and why I am writing to you. She is not only eating the liquid portion of you FreshPet cat food - she is chewing AND eating the solid chunks - and now she is licking the bowl clean!!! Now you understand how wonderful this is? :)
I'm always reading the cat food labels and we try to purchase food that only lists healthy natural ingredients, but as I'm sure you are aware, it's hard to find a product that doesn't have all of those fillers and by-products. I will be going back to the store soon to purchase more of your product.

I had to take a moment to let you know how much my dogs love their “Dog Joy Treats”. I truly believe it is a highlight of their day. Thank you for making such great products that make my two little Shih Tzu’s so happy! I actually think they smile when I head towards the fridge and grab their bag of treats. It is now on the top of my grocery list each week.

This is amazing to see.
I have a big male standard poodle named Deco who has always had food issues. He wasn't just a fussy eater - turns out he had some liver problems that made digestion at times painful. Today, at the ripe old age of 12 1/2, the liver is much improved, but the standoffishness around food is still there.
Make that "was" there. Recently, I discovered Freshpet's Dog Joy treats. Deco loved them. This lead me to try your Freshpet Select, which we mix in with the Medi-Cal Gastro dry food from the vet. He stands right by my side while I prepare it, practically swoonng if I give him a sniff of the sausage roll. Now he'd do for liver or fresh- cooked chicken - but for dog food? Not a prayer. This is amazing to see.
Deco is a big old sweetheart, loved by all the kids in our Toronto neighbourhood. I know he'd like to give you two very high fives (one of his tricks) for making such healthy and absolutely delicious dog food.

I just wanted to thank you for bringing into a market already saturated with prime pet food, a product that dogs actually like to eat! For over twenty years, my husband and I have been privately rescuing abused German Shepherds. It always amazes me how many ways people (and I use the term loosely) can find ways to ruin these amazing dogs.
Our latest, and last rescue Gretchen has been through more horrors in her young life than any dog should have endured. She just turned one and it was iffy that she would even survive, because we couldn’t get her to eat anything on the market today. I am talking about dry and canned food, people food, junk food- nothing. She was rapidly losing weight had no energy and the vet was threatening to put in a feeding tube.
Then I discovered Fresh Pet Select and decided to try it. Oh my word! She loves your product so much! It is like a difference between night and day with her now. She has rapidly gained weight- her favorite sport now is playing fetch and this dog can fly! She literally knows when I am going to the frig to get her food now and she sits calmly at the doorway of the living room and waits for me to bring it to her. If our cats even dare to sample this tasty meal, she drives them away firmly and quickly,
So thank you from the bottom of my heart, because once this girl matures, she will join our household permanently. She was so close to slipping from us and she is such a great companion for my husband (who is quite ill) and for myself. I was trying to find any possible way to keep her with us. Your product made that possible.
I wish you could see her fly across the pasture now in pursuit of the elusive tennis ball, watch her interact with the many kittens we also rescue and see the gratitude in her eyes when I actually give her a food she truly enjoys. But you can’t, so I am hoping this email will suffice.

I must tell you. My 14 year old Pekingese Terrie, (aka Mr.T) is thriving since I found your food. His twin died un expectedly in February. I then found out Terrie has Lung cancer. The vet made an appointment to put him down 2 weeks later. I found your food in the meantime and started giving him the prescription from the vet. I kept the appointment with tears in my eyes and the heaviest of heart I brought my fur kid in to be put to sleep. Low and behold, the vet said she could not put him to sleep. He was doing much much better!! I attribute that to your food!! Pekinese are known to be finicky and not eat every day! Well let me tell you, this little guy will eat at least twice a day. He will literally sit and bark at his bowl until the food magically appears!! I cannot thank you enough for saving my fur kid!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like he now has new lease on life.
We have a 14-year-old Shih Tzu with advanced congestive heart failure and arthritis for which he takes 4 different medications three times a day that keep him alive and comfortable. Each morning, my husband and I had a very difficult time getting him out of his bed. We would begin our routine of encouraging him to wake up at least 1/2 hour before his morning walk, to give him a chance to stretch his "old bones".
However, a few months ago, I discovered Dog Joy treats at my local Foodtown in NJ. Every since then, it's almost like he's a puppy again. He's awake and following me around from the moment my alarm clock goes off because he knows that each morning, he gets a few treats. It's like he now has new lease on life. He has enjoyed various pet snacks in the past, but always tires of them after the first few days. Not so with Dog Joy. He is as excited about them now as he was the first day he had them. The product name "Dog Joy" is very apropos. Thank you for this wonderful product.
